Apple releases iOS 14.8, iPad OS 14.8, Watch OS 7.6.2, and Mac OS 11.6 Big Pig with security improvements
Apple did not release the traditional beta for this release, but there were indications that Apple is working on a newer software version of iOS that precedes the much-anticipated iOS 15. And, it turns out that this is indeed the case.
Today, Apple has released iOS 14.8, iPadOS 14.8, watchOS 7.6.2, and macOS 11.6 Big Sur to the public. Although version number will suggest something bigger, it really won't. This is the final version of iOS 14 that has been released to the public, so it is not necessary to add any major new features to this mix.
